The Hispanic British Foundation announces the appointment of Pilar González-Baylín as the new Executive President after a decision adopted in this regard by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.

Pilar González-Baylín has a degree in Economic and Business Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and has studied Fashion Design at the IADE school. She has developed his professional career between Madrid and Barcelona in the insurance sector and the fashion sector. She is linked to the United Kingdom after numerous stays in that country, for family and personal reasons. For two years she has been a member of the Executive Council of the Foundation and since Decembre 2019 she has joined its Board of Trustees.

This Board of Trustees has appreciated the work and dedication that the outgoing President, Fidel López Álvarez, Ambassador of Spain, has carried out at the head of it, promoting new projects and strengthening our organization as a bridge between British and Spanish societies.

Pilar González-Baylín has communicated to the managing bodies and to all the Friends of the Foundation her absolute willingness to face this new challenge: …“I am very excited to work to ensure the Foundation’s heritage; work to be transparent with who we are and what we do; work to digitize ourselves and optimize the management of technological resources offered by the present; work to reach more British people and the age group of the second quarter of the century ”….“ we live in a tremendously complex but absolutely fascinating reality and at the Foundation we think that in these times, in the 20s of the 21st century, we still have a lot to build. “
