Today is a special occasion to honor Spanish Literature and British Literature. Following the launching of our British Literature Reading Club FHB BOOK CLUB and the Book Day, we propose two worth-reading novels:
“La Regenta” by Leopoldo Alas Clarín
“A Handful of Dust” by Evelyn Waugh
We enter into a social criticism raised by two great literary masters. Different scenarios and times, with the same satire background of the society of their time. This year we celebrate the Book Day remembering these two great writers who bring us closer to Spanish and British societies.
