The Instituto Cervantes has launched the #Audiolibros Contigo campaign, with which it offers hospitals in the Community of Madrid, for the first time and free of charge, a series of titles that can be downloaded or listened to by both health personnel and patients with access to mobile devices.

Audiobooks are an alternative to conventional reading and are very useful to accompany sick people and help them enjoy literature in another way.

#Audiolibros Contigo will reach the entire region through various channels, including BiblioMadSalud, the association of library professionals and health science documentation centers in the Community of Madrid, and the Health Libraries network, a network where More than 80 libraries from all over the national territory share content, including libraries from hospitals, universities, colleges and research centers, among other entities related to health.

Two select works of Spanish literature will be offered each week.
