Concert for Ukraine – hosts announce exact amount of money raised at Birmingham gig

Performers including Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello and Nile Rodgers helped raise millions by taking part in the concert at Resorts World in Birmingham
ITV Concert for Ukraine has confirmed it has raised a whopping £12.2 million (more than 14 million euros) for the DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. The event was set up in just two weeks with huge celebrities including Ed Sheeran, Nile Rogers, Camila Cabello and Emeli Sande all performing.
Ukrainian Eurovision winner Jamala also sang while clutching the Ukrainian flag in a moving performance.
American singer Camilla Cabello performed her new song with Ed Sheeran live for the first time at the event and Snow Patrol opened the historic Birmingham gig.
