Looking back at the 1st Ignacio Echeverría ‘Héroe del Año’ Awards!
Last year the FHB had the honor of attending this moving event alongside our Beca Ignacio Echeverría winners where they had the opportunity to speak with Joaquín, Ignacio’s father, and learned firsthand about the incredible bravery of the «Skateboard Hero» who gave his life to save others during the 2017 London Bridge attack.
Our scholars also had the wonderful opportunity to greet the UK Ambassador, Sir Alex Ellis @awykell, and the President of the Community of Madrid, @isabeldiazayuso
This Monday 25th of May, on what would have been Ignacio’s 48th birthday, we will be attending the 2nd edition. We can’t wait to be there to honor his legacy and celebrate more everyday heroes!
