The British Hispanic Foundation is a private, cultural foundation, with non-profit making status, and is registered at the Ministry of Culture of Spain. The Foundation was founded in 1980 by Dr. Roger Fry, C.B.E.
The Honorary President is H.R.H. the Infanta Doña Margarita de Borbón, Duchess of Soria.
The President of the Foundation is H.E. Mr Felipe de la Morena, Ambassador of Spain.
Its main activities are:
- The "Queen Victoria Eugenia" British Hispanic Chair of Doctoral Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid.
- The British Hispanic Forum
- Lectures, seminars, discussion lunches, book presentations, collaborative programmes between British and Spanish universities, concerts, exhibitions and social events.
- Publications on topics of British Hispanic interest.
