The "Queen Victoria Eugenia" British Hispanic Chair of Doctoral Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid.
The Foundation promotes and sponsors a Chair of Doctoral Studies in collaboration with the Complutense University of Madrid and with corporate sponsors such as Fundación Barclays, Bland Group, Grupo BP España, Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and King's Group. The Chair is called the "Queen Victoria Eugenia" British Hispanic Chair of Doctoral Studies. This name was authorized by the King of Spain. The Chair rotates around the various faculties of the Complutense University and is held each year by a distinguished British university professor.
The British Council offers, through the British Hispanic Foundation, two annual scholarships to students of the doctoral course.
The Chair began in the 1993-94 academic year and is organized annually.
